Patrick Yaw Boamah

Patrick Yaw Boamah is a Ghanaian Member of Parliament representing the Okaikwei Central Constituency in the Greater Accra Region.

Early life and education

 

Boamah, born on September 19, 1974 in Mourso-Effiduase, Ghana, earned a bachelor's degree in law and a master's degree in International Affairs from the University of Ghana in 2004 and 2005, respectively, and obtained his barrister-at-law degree from the Ghana School of Law in 2009.
 
 

Career

Boamah is a professional lawyer. Prior to venturing into politics, he gained experience as an Associate at the law firm of Sam Okudzeto and Associates.

Politics

Boamah entered parliament in 2013 as a representative of the New Patriotic Party and was re-elected in 2016. He has served on several committees and won in the 2020 election.
 
 

Personal life

Boamah is married and has two children. He is himself a Christian and is a member of the Methodist Church of Ghana.
