Maurice Ampaw
Maurice Kwabena Ampaw is a Lawyer and the founder of the Legal Advocacy Foundation in Ghana.

Ampaw Maurice was the seventh child born into a large family in Nandom, Ghana. His mother worked as a dealer, while his father was a farmer. He was raised in a lowly setting and had to put in a lot of effort to succeed.

Maurice Ampaw studied law at the Ghana School of Law and, after being admitted, gained recognition as a skilled attorney while working at Ampaw & Associates Law Offices.

Maurice Ampaw gained fame in Ghana after handling two high-profile cases, including defending a defendant in the Kulungugu bomb case and serving as the principal defense attorney for Alfred Agbesi Woyome in a government fraud case.

Ampaw Maurice received the esteemed Lawyer of the Year Award in from the Ghana Legal Awards. The honor was given in appreciation of his exceptional contributions to the legal community and his commitment to pursuing justice on behalf of his clients.
