Faila Abdul Razak is the proud founder and owner of Mickey’s Inn, a continental restaurant in Tamale. Since its inception in 2017, the restaurant has gained popularity for serving exceptional dishes, attracting patrons daily. In addition to her culinary achievements, Faila actively participates in the Ijbah Ghana Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting orphaned children. 

Family Tragedy

In April 2017, Faila faced a personal tragedy with the loss of her mother at the Tamale West Hospital. 

 

Personal Life

Married to Reginald Ofosuhen Adjei since November 1, 2020, Faila keeps the details of her personal life private. The couple appears to share a happy and fulfilling marriage, and they are blessed with one child, though specifics about the child remain undisclosed.

Guinness World Record Challenge

Chef Faila Abdul-Razak has set her sights on a monumental challenge – breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon. The event commenced at the stroke of midnight at the Modern City Hotel in Tamale and  continued until January 5. The current record is held by Alan Fisher, but Ugandan chef Mama D has unofficially surpassed it, setting the bar high for Faila.

Education

Faila's journey began at the prestigious Business Senior School in Tamale, where she laid the foundation for her future entrepreneurial endeavors. After completing her secondary education, she pursued a degree in Integrated Community Development (ICD) at the University of Professional Studies (UDS), shaping her into the accomplished businesswoman she is today.
