He began his educational journey at Korle Gonno Methodist Primary School before proceeding to JSS in Accra. It was during his time in secondary school at Holy Trinity Cathedral Secondary School that he discovered his passion for acting. Nartey started appearing in short films and productions, nurturing his talent. Subsequently, he gained admission to the University of Ghana, where he pursued Fine Arts and graduated with honors.
