Early life and education

Joselyn Dumas had her basic education at Morning Star School and proceeded to the Archbishop Porter Girls High School where she became the Entertainment Prefect. Joselyn furthered her studies in the United States where she studied to earn a Degree in Administrative Law.

Expanding Roles and Entrepreneurship

From 2008 to 2010, Joselyn Dumas took on the role of a co-producer for Miss Malaika Ghana, a highly esteemed beauty pageant in Ghana. Simultaneously, she founded Virgo Sun Company Limited, where she currently serves as the CEO. Under her astute leadership, Virgo Sun has already co-produced its debut film, "Love or Something Like That," which received the endorsement of UNAIDS.

TV Career


After practicing as a paralegal, Joselyn Dumas relocated to Ghana and began her television career as the host of Charter House's entertainment show called Rhythmz, which led to her recruitment as the host of ViaSat 1's flagship talk show, The One Show, from 2010 to 2014, where she interviewed numerous celebrities.


Film Career

Joselyn Dumas made a significant impact on the director with her performance in "Perfect Picture," leading to prominent roles in subsequent movies, but it was in the Shirley Frimpong-Manso movie series "Adams Apples" where she found her breakthrough, and she has since taken on pivotal roles in various movies and series, working alongside renowned African actors such as John Dumelo, Majid Michel, and OC Ukeje.

Joselyn Dumas has amassed numerous accolades throughout her career, including Best Entertainment Host of the Year at the RTP Awards 2012, the 4syte TV Hottest Ghanaian Celebrity award in 2013, Best Supporting Actress at the Ghana Movie Awards 2013, and the Outstanding Personality in Creative Entrepreneurship at the All Africa Media Networks Awards 2014, among others, showcasing her talent and contributions to the entertainment industry.

Jocelyn Dumas stars as the main character, Lankai Morgan, in the exciting new TV series called "Madam," which was written and directed by Shirley Frimpong-Manso, the creative mind behind the popular show "Dede."
