Lydia Zynnell Zuh was born on July 18, 1990 in Accra, Ghana, and grew up in a family of six children, where she is the only girl.
She received her secondary school education at Wesley Girls Senior High School. After completing high school, she pursued her tertiary education at the University of Ghana, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Geography and Information Studies.
2004
In 2004, Zynnell Zuh took her first steps into the Ghanaian movie industry. Her on-screen debut was in the TV series "Sticking to the Promise" by Point Blank Media. It was through this role that she caught the attention of Shirley Frimpong-Manso, an award-winning movie director and producer, who played a significant role in propelling her career forward.
2010

As of 2016, she served as the ambassador for the United Against Child Poverty Campaign, an initiative by the African Rights Initiative International aimed at eradicating child poverty in Africa.
